When it comes to nutrition, not only does everyone have an opinion, but everyone seems to think theirs is an expert opinion. And our culture seems to be ok with that. I’m not.

A recent study in JAMA, featured in a NY Times opinion piece of April 4, shows that complication rates for bariatric surgery since 2006 do not differ between designated Centers of Excellence, and their counterparts.

In an age of advergaming, more than food is being processed. We are being processed, by food industry marketing distortions. Our kids are being processed.
