In the partially edentulous patient, achieving functionally acceptable treatment outcomes is often realized. However, when tooth replacement is required in the aesthetic zone, the additional challenge of meeting both patient and clinician aesthetic expectations may prove to be significantly more challenging. The objective of this presentation is to present treatment planning concepts and provisionalization techniques in the aesthetic zone that can help to minimize the gap between expectations and reality. Following completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:
- Have improved understanding of treatment planning concepts in the anterior zone.
- Understand direct and indirect provisionalization techniques.
- Develop custom impression posts replicating ideal tissue profiles.
